Titans swim past Braves, 14-2
CHULA VISTA, Oct.
20, 2003 -- While Eastlake players may wish there were more wins this season,
the Titans still have plenty of conquests ahead of them before the 2003 season
is finally put to a rest.

Eastlake captured its seventh win against 12 losses by defeating El Cajon Valley, 14-2, in a non-league game at the Southwestern College pool.
The Titans previously defeated the Braves, 16-3, in a San Diego Open tournament contest on Oct. 17.
Max Lopez led Eastlake with five goals while Dain Laverty scored three times. James Hiney and Beto Lopez both contributed two goals while Sam Gottlieb and Austin Legg each scored once. The goal was Legg's fourth from the goalie position this season. He also made 12 saves in the contest.
El Cajon Valley got its goals from Aaron Mendia and Steven Meyers. Sophomore goalie Rodney Jones had six saves.
The Braves, who dropped their 15th game of the season against just one forfeit victory, are fielding a squad with no returning varsity players this season.
